Casper 10x Zoom Camera F 1 8f 4
nice cam, i was able to test it in the middle of a peacefull rehearsal for the upcoming play ‘the last will and testament’. running it on my macbook pro. i used zoom to make sure that everything was working properly. it didn’t even run into any problems. just a warning: at times it got quite hard to find a proper focus point.
i was quite satisfied with the end result (and my students havent complained yet). but our individual standards might very well differ!! did you have the optimize share for full-screen video clip enabled when screensharing the mmhmm window in zoom if not, it might be worth another try. (i am not sure this says much about video quality and framerate, but just for reference, a 1h lecture recording ends up around 600-700mb at 1280720. the quality looks pretty good to me. definitely not perfect but good enough. additionally, i get a slight, but definitely noticeable, delay between audio and video as a perfectionist this really bugs me, but as a teacher and realist i would say its definitely good enough for the job at hand!!)

its also an excellent vehicle for fast roping, thanks to its high momentum during launch and recovery. it has also been designed for in-depth landings with its increased footprint and longer landing gear legs. the mav’s exceptional agility and performance along with its outstanding endurance and payload make it a formidable machine for remote warfare applications such as sabotage and demolition. the casper is currently in development and will be available for sale in 2020.
the most direct way to figure this out is to try it yourself and send us back feedback. its also possible that someone at casper could also help. i am not sure if casper has published their entire code on github yet (though i am guessing that it has not). you can see that they have published the code on their site, but it is not clear if you can see the video feed from their website. you can also write to email@example.com and they will provide you with the information.
here is a final note about our testing of this: on the grounds that both the casper and the room are powered by outlets, the casper mav was attached to an extension cord so that the room power would always be on. we set the casper mav altitude to 50 m (which is the maximum operating altitude), and then waited for a student to enter the room. after that we watched and recorded the live video from the casper mav. the casper mav starts to ascend almost immediately after the student enters the room (the casper mav descends after 10 minutes).
the only other thing we did to the casper mav was to upgrade the battery (to 3000 mah) and remove the 15g load. on the negative side, the casper mav would overheat, so i would have to wait until it cooled down (or turn off the room power) before i could re-attach it to the ceiling.
this thing is a beauty. it’s not the biggest, the smallest or most affordable camera, but it’s definitely the most detailed. it can zoom in on subjects as far as you can see. it’s easy to use and set up, and i can definitely recommend it.
this is a great little camera. it took some getting used to, but once you figure it out, you’ll love it! it’s small and easy to use. i really like the zoom feature, but i did have some difficulty with the audio and picture quality while zooming in. i also really enjoyed the ability to see behind the camera, which really makes it feel like you’re there. the only drawback is that the camera is really hard to take off the tripod when you want to move it.
