SwiftSearch is a tiny application that makes it simple and quick for you to search your hard drive, flash cards, CD’s and others. SwiftSearch enables you to conduct an instant file search anywhere on your PC and bring back results in seconds.

To search a file or folder with SwiftSearch you simply enter its name or extension. Searching files on your PC is easy with SwiftSearch, you can either use the filters in the search box, or you can enter keywords that describe the file you are looking for.

You can search for files in folders and subfolders, allowing you to find all the files that contain the information you are looking for. SwiftSearch is the ideal tool for finding files anywhere on your PC.

Fully compatible with most versions of Windows. Only a few versions of Mac OS and Linux are not compatible. All the supported platforms include:

General APX Test can be used to test an mp3 files using the Vorbis codec.
General APX Test developed for Vorbis files only.
General APX Test will not be able to detect files encoded with the Lame codec.

General APX Test shows the lowest possible bitrate supported by the selected file.
The Audio Bitrate X tool is used in several Windows multimedia applications, from DVD players to various media players.

General APX Test is a small application that allows you to determine the Audio Bitrate supported by an MP3 file. The Audio Bitrate X tool was first released in the February, 2006 beta version of dBpoweramp. It was fully developed and released as freeware in the June, 2006 release of dBpoweramp.

The General ABX Test application will not work for MP3 files that use the Lame codec.
The General ABX Test application will not work for MP3 files that are compressed with the gzip compressor.

The following steps show you how to use the General ABX Test application.
1. Download and install the General ABX Test application from the following link. (Download the latest version at the time of writing this article.)
2. Run the application and select the audio file.
3. Click the Play button to begin.
4. When the file plays, the General ABX Test application will show the audio file in the Vorbis and MP3 decoders.

Press the UP and DOWN keys to change the sampling rate of the file.
Use the left and right arrow keys to move between the Vorbis and MP3 audio decoders.
Use the slider to set the minimum and maximum bitrates for the file.
Use the OK button to close the dialog box.
